Community Revitalization
As cities become less affordable places in which to live and work, and as telecommunications improve, many people are considering relocating to smaller communities. Those already living in such places are seeking ways to revitalize their communities in ways that capitalize on local quality of life. This combination of factors provides many opportunities for community development outside of the major urban centres. Making use of local cultural heritage resources is an important way of achieving this aim.
